so this an Introduction to the project.
Hello, I am Owlcyclops and I want to tell a story.
I believe it took place around in 2022 of last year that was the year of the 20th anniversary of "Treasure Planet" and the existence of the TV series "OFMD (Our Flag Means Death)" which caused me want to hunt down any thing that was a piece of Pirate media I could get my hands on (examples being 7th Sea core rule Book, The Forever sea by , Tanamount By Thomas J. Radford, Hidden seas Tales by by A.M. Dellamonica , On a Lee Shore by Elin Gregory , The tales of Nathanial Flint by Chaossmith2 , By Sky & Sea by ANTOINE BANDELE , Under the Banner of King Death, a few I forgot to write down here that and a few other's I am going to get around to seeing soon.
as you can tell I definitely also started to seek out Treasure Island adaptions like the Russian Treasure Island, Disney Treasure Planet, 1982 Bulgarian Treasure Planet and a very few other adaptions I forgot or haven't seen yet.
as you can tell this is what got me face to face with this series during that time. the series name being "L'isola del Tesoro (Treasure Island) (2016)" by the infamy that is MondoTv, known for making the weirdest of animations possible, examples being "Christmas In New York" you know that one with that one scene that can get you banned if you showed it on Twitch and a few others that people had looked into to talk about the knock off aura of them.
well you maybe wondering something "why have I not heard about this thing at all? its like there is very little info on it" well yeah, you are right about the very little written about this thing I could only find a summery of it on a MondoTv wiki, imdb entry, art by one of the creators being Igor Chimisso on Artstation and the, I crap you not, Best Tv Shows Wiki page it has for some reason I will never comprehend.
so you may be wondering what the heck is this thing at all? well to sum it up what if some one wanted the Treasure Island book to be a RWBY like Cartoon series of 26 episodes? that is what you get with this series.
"okay" you might think "so it might be good enough for me to watch"
hahahaha NO
I will have to give you a warning about me, I am not an expert about black face or sexism but I am going be having to put up a warning that is an understandable reason why no one would be able to finish this series in the first place.. so let me just link to the Thread that has an image of it in there that some one did a live watch of other Treasure Island adaptions
so how I am going to break these series down is that I am going to make 4 pages that I can list and summarize 7 episodes each so that I can be blunt about my findings without having to go into depth into each and every episode when I can complain and rant explain what could have been a interesting seed of an idea if some one who could have executed the concepts better because there is the grain of what is a good idea, just handled very badly I believe. it also can help people be able to read the episodes with out having to watch this whole thing by yourself. after I briefly summarize all 28 of the episodes then I will make a few pages on what should have been handled better or hand the seed of an interesting idea. I will also have a nasty amount of poor grammar because I could not give a damn due to me putting this off for too long.
